Magical 7Sins is a variable typeface designed by Jie Jian JJ.
Inspired by magical girls, a genre that has been linked to
female empowerment since the 1970s, from exploring female sexuality to
weaponizing femininity. By combining magical girls with the Seven Sins,
this typeface aims to destigmatize the notion that (magical) girls have
to be virtuous.
